Why RealSense D400 doesn't work with third party Type-C cables?

Stock cable does work properly, but it is too short for my tasks. I cannot make real sense work with any third party cable, whether its expensive or cheap one.

What is possible to do?

Newnex supply cables that have been shown to work with the 400 Series cameras.

Hello,

The original cable that is packed with the D400 cameras is a different cable from what most of the commercial offer. The conductivity is higher than normal, this help to avoid bandwidth or energy drops. The original cable has been tested and validated by Intel and we can assure your camera will work properly with it.

The use of other cables from different manufacturers is totally under your discretion and you will need to test and validate them on your own, the cables Marty shared are the ones that the community has provided feedback about. Feel free to try them on your implementation.
