topic About 11.1 Update 9 in Intel® Fortran Compiler

As I expect there will be questions, I'm preempting them with this post. We recently released an Update 9 for version 11.1 of the Fortran and C++ compilers for Linux and Windows, not Mac. The only change in this update was to correct an issue in the IA-64 architecture (Intel Itanium) code generator. If you are not using IA-64 you do not need this update. (There are no IA-64 Macs.)
