Using IOSTAT - compiler documentation

I just had cause to read the help topic "Using the IOSTAT Specifier and Fortran Exit Codes" in "Intel® Fortran Compiler 17.0 Developer Guide and Reference".

I think this topic needs to include reference to standard parameters such as IOSTAT_END from the ISO_FORTRAN_ENV intrinsic module and a mention or link to the intrinsic function IS_IOSTAT_END. There are a number of things in this topic that don't encourage good coding practice. I fully understand where the topic comes from with the long baggage of history but I think it is now due for a refresh.....

Hi Devoarah,

Related to Andrew's post, could I respectfully suggest that the language A-Z reference on the help web site should include entries for all the intrinsic modules.

Best wishes
