My dearest Intel:

I am not sure who decided that we need to both use gmail to send a link to first connect and then a phone call, but can I say with due politeness, it is overkill and a solid waste of time.

This is not Fort Knox, it is a bulletin board. It is generally used by supreme nerds, although Fortran Discourse may win the gold on that one.

Could someone please talk to whomever invented this system and suggest that they need to re do it?

Please

John Nichols

I am tired of hunting for my phone, my daughter hides it and no one calls me except Microsoft for this site.

Well, believe it or not, this is a good thing. I am told:

"Your Microsoft Azure instance will proceed with verifying your identity and protecting your access, other users have to utilize internal IT escalations to log in to their account if they can’t be automatically verified by Intel’s system.

The IT team basically adds a further layer of management to go to Azure, you are bypassing that extra step."

It also depends on your type of access/account.
