    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.intel.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/44501"&gt;@Barbara_P_Intel&lt;/a&gt;, sorry I should have thought of that, I just read the note on the error message on install to put it on the forum.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is a flaw in the latest VS2022 Preview, it fails to install several important components, which is probably affecting the Intel update.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I spent the day playing with code that has been running for years and it will not compile on the latest preview and checking with standard VS templates showed the same error.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;If you cannot compile a standard template of hello world there is something wrong.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will reinstall and leave off Preview.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Update today did not work, this is the second note, the first one just disappeared as did one a few days ago.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Weird.&amp;nbsp; here are the logs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;John, why do you persist in running Preview versions of Visual Studio, which repeatedly give you problems? They are not supported by Intel.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
