Intel® Fortran Compiler 2025.3.2 is available (with Microsoft* Visual Studio 2026 support)

Intel® Fortran Compiler version 2025.3.2 (Patch release) is published. It is available for download from our product page HERE. The Release Notes are HERE.

The highlights for this release include:

Added support for Visual Studio 2026 in the Compiler IDE Visual Studio extensions. Users can now install and use the extensions seamlessly with Visual Studio 2026, with no changes required to existing workflows.
Fixed a memory leak that occurred when a subroutine with a secondary entry point was invoked via that entry and contained a local instance of a nested derived type with allocatable arrays, which were not properly deallocated on exit.
Fixed a bug in the optimizer that causes a runtime divided-by-zero error
When upgrading Intel® oneAPI Fortran Compiler(IFX) to the latest patch release on Linux, if you also use Intel® oneAPI DPC++/C++ Compiler(ICX), make sure to upgrade to the same version as this release from https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/tools/oneapi/dpc-compiler-download.html to avoid compatibility issues.
This Patch release contains the latest performance and stability enhancements

NOTE: Starting from Intel® Fortran Compiler version 2025.3 you need to install Intel® Fortran Expression Evaluator (FEE) extension manually from VS Extensions to enable all Fortran application debugging features.

The FEE is installed when I update to the latest ONEAPI if I use HPC, do you mean that is from an older HPC and now HPC does not contain the FEE?

For the person who asked if the editor finds the errors if you click on them, that is a positive.

Plus the new HPC includes a C++ update.

I am a basic learner and a retired Senior citizen interested in Fortran,Assembly languages. In 1980's developed some software with MS-DOS applications of Fortran,Assembly languages. Now again I am interested to develop some simple astronomy applications with the above mentioned languages. Regarding Intel OneAPI standalone compiler installation time facing the below troubles: While installing Intel OneAPI Base toolkit v.2025.3,OneAPI HPC toolkit v.2025.3,OneAPI CPP Essentials v.2025.3,Fortran Essentials v.2025.3 below error occurs: Critical Prerequisites Another program is being installed Wait until that installation is complete,and then try installing this software again. Software installer v.4.4.5.2352 Quit

I am using 64 Bit,Windows 11,Acer Aspire Lite AMD RYZEN 5000 series, AMD Graphics,Nahimic steel series Laptop to install and run Intel Fortran Compiler 2025.3. Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2026.

Please help and guide me to install the above mentioned compiler without any troubles. 2/3 times tried, but everytime the same error occurs repeatedly.

Waiting for your valuable help,guidance,suggestion at the earliest.

Right, FEE from the older version is not uninstalled with the installation of the latest oneAPI toolkits/compiler. You need to install the new version of FEE to get latest fixes for this component.
