> Works for me... What exactly are the symptoms you
> are seeing? BTW, the URL I get for that link is
> different from the one you list.
>
> Steve
Well, Steve, since you get a different URL, that would explain it. Annoyingly, you fail to quote yours!
Here is what I am told when I click on the Compaq Visual Fortran link
The requested URL could not be retrieved

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While trying to retrieve the
URL: http://prod-evergreen.cps.intel.com/cgi-bin/ids.dll/content/content.jsp?

The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for prod-evergreen.cps.intel.com
The dnsserver returned:

Name Error: The domain name does not exist.
This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.

So I guess I am talking to a non-existent being...I must get out more..
regards

Interesting. I can now reproduce the problem. We'll look into it.

Steve

Ok, now I see what happened. On the first popup page for the Tech Support link, the URL for Visual Fortran is pointing to an internal Intel staging server rather than the proper external server. The User Resources popup has the correct externally-visible URL. It worked for me when I tried it from inside Intel, because I can see the staging server.

We'll fix this - thanks for pointing it out.

Steve
