VS integration problems using IFORT 10.0 and 11.1 on the same machine

Dear forumers,

Since last month, i was using on my machine VS2005 with Intel Fortran 10.0 integration. All my commercial programs are debugged using this duet.

Now, VS2008 and Ifort 11.1 have been installed on the same machine. The aim is to use VS2005 and IFORT 10.0 to do program maintenance, and VS2008 and 11.1 to begin migrating for new versions.

The problem is: Ifort 11.1 has been integrated in both VS2005 and VS2008 and it is not possible to choose the Ifort 10.0 integration in VS2005 anymore.

That is quite problematic for me because when i launch programs in VS2005, a conversion of my projects is asked.

I have read, too late unfortunately, that only 10.1 and 11.1 are both able to be integrated in the same time in Visual Studio.

What can i do to workaround this situation and to keep a 10.0 integration VS2005?

Hi Xavier,

I am having exactly the same problem. My build machine has versions 10 ,11 installed and i would ideally like to use 10 with VS 2005 and 11 with VS2008.
Did you happen to find a workaround for this ?

Please let me know, it will be of great use for me.

In Add/Remove Programs, do a Change on 11.1. Set the VS2005 integration to "will not be installed"
Uninstall and reinstall 10.0.
