Hello Steve,

a couple of weeks ago there was a thread about the array viewer and the problems on 64bit systems. (i cannot find it using the search)

There, you were saying that you will ask the developers to look into the source to find the problem. Is there any new information?

Steve,

I have another question about the Array Viewer application. First of all, at this point I would be happy to be able to view arrays during debugging. using it in software applications are secondary. I am running Win 7 64 bit Pro and MS Visual Studio 8. I realize that the Array Viewer does not integrate with this environment. My question is how many steps back do I have to take to get it to work? possibilities are:
1. Still using Win 7 64 bit:
a. Only generate 32-bit applications.
b. Install 32-bit version of Visual Studio and Intel Compiler
2. Run XP Pro 64 bit
3. Run XP Pro 32 bit

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

the way i am using, is:

on my Win 7 Pro 64bit (german) system, installing the XP mode

- starting XP mode
- installing array viewer dev i32 (must be installed before IVF)
- installing IVF (for me 11.1.048)

then it works

Frank

Hi Thanks for the reply. It looks like I can run CVF on my virtual PC in XP mode so that makes Intel Fortran redundant. A working possibility is to write and debug code on the virtual PC in CVF and when speed is a problem run them under IVF in Win 7

CF
