      <title>outdated manufacturer drivers</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it a good idea to replace manufacturer's drivers which come with preinstalled Windows 10 with actual drivers from Intel website? I consider that the Intel graphics drivers I receive from Acer are outdated (writes me current version 21.20.16.4550 and on their support site I can't see any links which refer to newer drivers). When I downloaded Intel Driver Update Utility it notices me about manufacturer's modified drivers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What do you suggest?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you so much for a nice guide, but I'm still not able to update it to 4627 version. It stuck on 4550 from 11/11/2016. When I'm attempting to update it a different way, I always get a warning that it couldn't allow me to start manual re-installation. I'm trying to do it on Acer Aspire S13.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This method works and drivers will successfully install, but after OS restart it returns back to previous state. I think I have to figure out how to disable Windows graphics driver auto updating.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If you are having graphics issues in your computer then you can try installing our generic graphics driver.       <description>&lt;P&gt;If you want to remove the Manufacturer driver to install the&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;latest Intel Graphics Driver follow these steps:&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Download the latest graphics driver from Intel&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;(the.zip not the .exe)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Extract the .zip with the driver to a new folder&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;on your desktop.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Uninstall the Manufacturer Graphics Driver:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;First disconnect yourself from the internet by&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;turning airplane mode on.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;(W-10) Right click Start, select Settings,&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;select Apps.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Scroll down the programs list and uninstall your&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Intel HD graphics. (do not restart).&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Right click Start, select Device Manager, Select&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Display Adapters, right click Intel HD Graphics and select Uninstall Device. Mark&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;the box (delete the driver software for this device) and uninstall.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Restart your computer.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;(W-10 will install its own Basic Graphics&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Driver) Right click Start, select Device Manager, select Display Adapters,&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;right click the Basic Graphics Driver, select Update Driver.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select Browse my computer for driver software.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Click Browse, select the folder where you&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;extracted your latest HD Graphics Driver by Intel.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Mark the Include subfolders selection box and&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;click next.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The basic driver will update to your latest Intel&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;HD Graphics driver.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Be Happy!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
