The Intel® Driver & Support Assistant does not work with the Brave browser as my default, I get message that something went wrong without any specifics. Had to copy the Intel URL and switch to my Edge browser to do update.

That is correct. Only Chrome, Edge, and Firefox are supported.

Bravo is Chromium based and can use the Chrome and Edge extensions. But Chromecast isn't fully implemented and is turned off by default.

The support says Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. It says nothing about being "Chromium-based". You want to use a browser with a very small marketshare, that is your choice. Use Edge, Chrome, or Firefox for those products that require it.

Microsoft Edge (default browser), Firefox and Chrome

I have encountered a problem using the Intel Driver & Support Assistant with the Microsoft Edge browser. The DSA attempts to scan my system but then, the scan fails with the following error message,

Sorry, something went wrong while trying to scan.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the DSA program, which did not help. However, when I changed my default browser to Firefox, the program scanned the system OK. It recommended two updated drivers.

I wonder whether I need to change any of my system settings.
