Unable to Identify Graphics Card + Can't Update Drivers

The PC I'm using is a Dell Optiplex 790 with an Intel Core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10 GHz with an unknown GPU. One thing to note is that this PC originally was purchased as Windows 7, but my father upgraded it to Windows 10 via disc installation.

I noticed my drivers were out of date, so I went to Intel's page for Windows DCH Drivers and downloaded the first one (gfx_win_101.3430_101.2111.exe). After downloading, I ran the .exe and was greeted with "No driver was found that can be installed on the current device."

I naturally assumed that I had downloaded the wrong drivers for my GPU, so I ran DxDiag to look at my card. To my surprise, there was no serial number, and it was only labeled as "Intel(R) HD Graphics." I looked on this very forum for answers and was led to the list of supported operating systems. I looked under Intel Core Processor Graphics and was at an impasse, as all of the listed graphics systems did have serial numbers, whereas mine did not. I scrolled back to the top and clicked the link to identify my graphics product.

I followed the instructions of looking in device manager, however, it was still labeled as "Intel(R) HD Graphics. The bottom of the page had links to visit if this was the case, but I had already visited both and had been redirected back to the same page I was currently on. I followed the other option of installing the Intel Driver & Support Assistant. I ran it, and was greeted with "No supported driver or software updates are available for your system."

As a last-ditch effort, I uninstalled my driver and restarted my PC. When it came back online, the driver was still installed.

How can this be? How is it possible that there are no drivers anywhere on the internet that are better than the ones I currently have, which were made in 2016, and when programs such as Minecraft are asking me to update my drivers? I'd appreciate any and all insight into this problem.

There is no Intel driver for 2nd gen processors for windows 10. All you have is the Microsoft generic driver, which lacks performance and features. And, there is certainly no DCH driver.

Time for you to upgrade/replace your hardware.
