UHD 630 driver issue causing random ASCII characters on screen

I have an issue where random characters appear on the screen. They almost look like confetti until you zoom in on them. Updating to latest driver doesn't work and neither does reverting to an earlier driver.

Booting in safe mode or removing the driver completely however does resolve the issue but of course isn't ideal.

Specs and issue in screen shots below.

Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks!

What is the model of your computer?

The images show the artifacts on the Windows Start menu and settings app. Do you see it only on windows apps or menus?

Thank you for getting back to me.

They appear in web pages and in various applications. However, they never appear on the Windows desktop despite changing the desktop color and image.
