Intel HD Graphics Problem, Screen Flashes Black

I have a problem. Many times, mostly when I play a video fullscreen or a game, the screen flashes black for a second and then back to normal.

This may happen 3 or 4 times in a row. I've seen a similar discussion in the forum but i dont think it applies to my situation. This happens both with the HDMI connection and the regular. I would really appreciate your help.

I am not sure this is the thing you want, but in the msinfo32 file it says:

BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. F8, 11-May-2012 and

SMBIOS Version 2.7

The BIOS version you currently have (F8) has seen a few updated/corrections. Gigabyte is currently on F16. Download the latest BIOS update and run it, and let me know if you're issue is corrected or not.

I tried to run it and it gives me a message that it is not supported for the 64bit version of Windows 8 which i have.

Is there a compatible version for my Windows somewhere?

It would appear that the Gigabyte BIOS do not have an executable updater. I checked the specs for your motherboard, and it does support "Q Flash" - which can be used for updating ("flashing") your BIOS. Thank you very much. I followed the steps and the BIOS was updated to F16.

Lets hope now that the black flashes will stop!
