Manual updating drivers doesn't work

Hello everyone, I'm trying to boost the performance of some games I play and decided to update my drivers. Automatically doesn't work and says "manufacturer drivers bla bla" so I decided to do a manual override but even that doesn't works saying that the drivers are up to date or better then the files I linked them to.

drivers I try to install:

My processor is a i7 3632QM with HD graphics 4000 so the drivers are the ones I need. But it says its alreayd up to date while the version of the drivers I have is 9.17, 1 from 2012! Please I need some help with this to hopefully solve my FPS issues in some games... ty.

Did you try to manually install the driver according to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html this guide?

If so, you could still try to update utilizing the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html Intel Driver Update utility.

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

That message indicates that your computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of generic Intel video drives. Note: Once you install the "generic" driver you will overwrite any customizations your system manufacturer made to the driver specific for your system model.

If this does not work is because your system only allows the manufacturer driver.
