Trying to connect 2 monitors to my NUC, one via USB-C (DP1.2) the other via HDMI 2.0b.

Both Monitors are AOC cu34g2x, so should be no issues there.

Problem as follows, i can run both Monitors in isolation, but as soon as i connect the 2nd, either by HDMI or DP the 2nd Monitor will not be detected.

For absolute clarity i'm trying to connect as per the first 2 display option example in the link

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000056438/intel-nuc.html

All my drivers are up to date

I can run both monitors at the same time if i connect 1 directly to HDMI and the other from the Monitor HDMI via a HDMI to USB C lead into the NUC TB3,

HELP

Hello DrZoidberg,

Thanks for the confirmation. I was checking your AOC cu34g2x specifications and noticed that it only includes 2xHDMI and 2xDisplay port, it does not mention Thunderbolt support for video. It mentions a "USB fast-charge port" that usually is USB-C only, but in this case for power and not for video support.

Monitor: https://aoc.com/us/gaming/products/monitors/cu34g2x/specification

I recommend you to get in contact with AOC to confirm this information and for advice. Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.

Regards,

Deivid A.

Intel Customer Support Technician

I would like to continue with the investigation and I will require the following reports.

1. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.

Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html

Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".

To save your scan, click Next and click Save.

2. Provide the Report for Intel® Graphics Drivers with both monitors connected:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005848/graphics.html

Regards,

Deivid A.

Intel Customer Support Technician

Hi @DeividA_Intel ,

Thanks

From my understanding Windows Enterprise is not missing anything that would cause these issues, its simply a more comprehensive edition, no NUC is listed as supported with Enterprise.

I have run both Thunderbolt and HDMI updates and the problem remains

Hello DrZoidberg,

I understand your concern. However, your NUC is compatible with

Windows 11 and Windows 10, even though Windows 11 Enterprise is working with your NUC, it may encounter unexpected issues like this one.

If possible, try any of the supported operating systems to confirm if the issue persists.

Best regards,

Deivid A.

Intel Customer Support Technician

Hello DrZoidberg,

In this case, there is no need for you to buy a new license, you can test with a new install without a license just to make sure if this issue is related to the operating system or this NUC.

Thanks for your comprehension.

Regards,

Deivid A.

Intel Customer Support Technician
