Intel ARC A770 16GB - Not Support 2nd Display

I recently bought this Arc A770 (16GB) from a friend. After Installed on my pc, this card does not support dual display connection. I have a ROG PG258Q Display that uses a DP cable as main monitor, and a HP 24mh with a HDMI cable as second monitor. When I plugin both cable, the card doesn't output any signal. The card only works with one cable scenario (remove any other cable).

My PC spec is 14700k + 32GB DDR5 6000MHZ (XMP) + MSI Z790-P with MSI 750Watt PSU. And all drivers are up to date. So it shouldn't be my driver's problem, neither the power limitation problem.

My current ARC control driver version is : 31.0.101.4792

When I plugin both cable, both screen blacked out and soon displayed as "No Signal, the screen is going to sleep".

Plz help, I really like this Foundation Edition design of A770, I don't want to sell it again.

To better assist you, we would like to ask for more details about the system, so please provide us with the following:

Did your friend install the card on a different system? If so, did this issue occur on the previous system the card was used?
Did you have another graphics card in your system, before you installed the Intel ARC A770?
Do both monitors work if you connect them individually?
Are you using the straight connection between the PC and monitors?
Is there any video output if you connect both monitors while you are in the BIOS menu?
Create a system report using the Intel®️ System Support Utility (Intel®️ SSU) to have more details about your system:
- Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel®️ SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
- Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
- To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."

Note that this is a public forum so we recommend you to not share private inforamtion such as the video card markings.

Here are my answers to the questions:
Did your friend install the card on a different system? If so, did this issue occur on the previous system the card was used?

- He use Win10 system (not Win11), but only used one monitor, so he didn't counter any of these problem.

Did you have another graphics card in your system, before you installed the Intel ARC A770?

- Since 14700K come with UHD 770, I used the integrated graphics to updated the motherboard BIOS (13th gen to 14th gen) before install A770.

Do both monitors work if you connect them individually?

- Both monitors works fine when I connect them individually.

- My friend recommend me to use both DP cable for connection, and Dual-DP works for connecting both monitors at the same time.

Are you using the straight connection between the PC and monitors?

- Yes, I didn't connect any transfer adaptors. Only the HDMI/ DP cable.

Is there any video output if you connect both monitors while you are in the BIOS menu?
- Yes, when plugin one HDMI and one DP, I can see the MSI (motherboard) Logo when I restart the pc, but after that both display lost video output.

- 2 Monitors only works at the same time if I use DP cable for both monitors.

Thank you for all the information you have provided. We would like to recommend you perform a clean driver installation of the latest driver 31.0.101.4972. To eliminate the possibility of corrupted files from previous drivers, you should run the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). Please note that previous driver files and leftovers can affect the functionality of your system, and the DDU tool will eliminate all the previous driver installation files

We have noticed that your Windows 11 build is currently at version 22621, while the latest version available is 22631. We strongly recommend that you install all necessary updates for your operating system.

It would be ideal to mention that based on your system report, your RAM is running at 5600 MT/s. But based on the processor specification, the maximum RAM speed supported is 4800 MT/s for DDR5 and up to 3200 MT/s for DDR4. We recommend you disable XMP since altering the processor to run at speeds over the specifications is considered overclocking the CPU. For more information, you can check our article "What Is Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (Intel® XMP)?"

We want to confirm on your thread to see if you have been able to try the recommendation we asked in our previous thread: updating the GFX driver after running the DDU, updating the OS, and disabling the XMP. Let us know if the issue remains.
