Virtu mvp software

Hello there,

I have a laptop with i7-3630QM @2.40GHZ and a graphics card Intel HD graphics 4000 alongside a Nvidia Geforce 660

I 've been told that I could use Lucid virtu software, but as it seems I can't. In Lucid website they only have desktop versions of Virtu MVP and as I can see, I haven't got any virtu software installed by Intel.

Does it work on laptops or not?

The laptop manufacturer is the one that provides the specific software to work on switchable graphics environments. In this case, you should check what is the application or driver for your third party video controller to work with the Intel® HD Graphics, which may not be Lucid Virtu necessarily.

Diego, thank you for your reply.

I'm not very familiar with these things, but the application I'm currently interested is DVDFab.

Is there any other software like Virtu that could do the job for me?

That depends on your laptop manufacturer, please check with them to see what software is required for this system to work in their system.

Hmmm and what happens if my laptop is not a big brand then?

It's based on a Clevo, but that's all I know.

This is my laptop and not called a Clevo anymore, so I'm a bit confused

I do not know why Diego_Intel do not want to tell you any specific name. Perhaps they are not allowed to talk about other brands.

If your notebook has an nVidia card, look for "optimus".
