    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I have a laptop with&amp;nbsp; an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz processor and an intel iris Xe graphics card, I have a monitor that runs 1920x1080@165hz, but it only gives me119.8hz max. I'm connected to the monitor using HDMI 2.0, I don't know why it wont run 165hz,&lt;BR /&gt;please let me know if anybody finds a solution.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This platform is an HP 15-DY2056 (SKU 2Q2E6UA#ABA)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, HP only offers the HDMI connection as a video output.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="MUC_0-1723069978496.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.intel.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/57663i2077FAAE127A9B94/image-size/medium/is-moderation-mode/true?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400&amp;amp;whitelist-exif-data=Orientation%2CResolution%2COriginalDefaultFinalSize%2CCopyright" role="button" title="MUC_0-1723069978496.png" alt="MUC_0-1723069978496.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1080p @&amp;nbsp;165 Hz is not possible via HDMI 1.4b. With standard video timing, 1080p @ 120 Hz is the maximum that this device can output. Due to the limited rendering power of this laptop, I don't think there's any benefit to increasing the refresh rate any further.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The monitor's diagnostic data shows &lt;STRONG&gt;119.982 Hz&lt;/STRONG&gt;, so this "odd number" in Windows is fine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
