Intel HD Graphics 630 and Minecraft does not work?

Hi there,

I have a new MSI GP72VR 7RF Leopard with a Intel HD graphics 630 card and NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060.

When I start Minecraft for the first time I get this error:

[22:26:20 ERROR]: Game ended with bad state (exit code -1073740791)

[22:26:20 INFO]: Ignoring visibility rule and showing launcher due to a game crash

I have installed the latest drivers for Intel HD Graphics 630:

Driver File Version: 21.20.0016.4534 (English)

Driver Version: 21.20.16.4534

Does anybode know if this driver version causes problems with Minecraft?

Hello diamonddutch,

I am not familiar with version .4534, in fact this version is not available from our end. I believe that version is provided by your computer manufacturer.

I recommend using one of our generic driver version which you can find here; https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/96551/Intel-HD-Graphics-620 Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 620. Install one of these with this method; http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows... .

It's the nvidia driver geforce gtx 1060. The newest driver doesn't work with minecraft. Solution is to install an older driver. Problem solved!
