Hi My intel3000 onboard graphic card driver can't be installed. I recently changed my bios IC beacause it burned out and after that my vga drivers don't work any more. I tried several ways to reinstall them but non of them worked out. Please send me instructions to solve this problem. Thank you very much.

Nowhere near enough information to do any level of analysis. Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility for Windows. When you start the utility, select Everything and then click on Scan. Once it completes the scan process, click on Next and then Save. Pick a name for the text file to create and click on Save to create it. You can then close the app. Finally, open a response post here and then, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach box (below the edit box for the body of your response post), upload and attach this text file to the response post.

...S

You have a 2nd gen processor. Intel never provided graphics drivers for Windows 10 (much less Windows 11) for these processors. Microsoft provides a compatibility driver (a shimmed version of Intel's much older Windows 8 driver) inbox with Windows 10 and 11 that will support this processor, but its performance and compatibility are poor to say the least. You are essentially stuck with this driver.

Now, your laptop also has an NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M graphics engine. You currently do not have any driver installed for this engine other than Microsoft's basic display driver. NVIDIA has a Windows 10 driver available here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/132841/. You can attempt to install this version onto Windows 11.

Hope this helps, I know you don't want to hear it but, you really should be looking at replacing this laptop with something more modern.

...S
