I hope this message finds you well.

I am encountering a persistent issue with my Intel® HD Graphics 4600 when attempting to use Adobe After Effects. Each time I launch the application, I receive an error message indicating that my video driver is unsupported. I have already updated the driver to the latest version available, but the problem persists.

Here are the details:

Graphics Card: Intel® HD Graphics 4600
Error Message: Unsupported Video Driver
Action Taken: Driver updated to the latest version

The 4th generation processors were long ago discontinued. The drivers were, at that time, frozen as well. This means, over time, that the provided (OpenGL, etc.) APIs are going to become more and more out of date, and, as you have seen, you eventually reach a point where the driver is incompatible with modern software. There is nothing that can be done about this. Intel simply will not be updating these drivers any further.
So, what can you do about this? In fact, nothing. Because this is an older laptop, there is no possible upgrade that will address this incompatibility. The laptop needs to be replaced with something much more modern.
