GPU: UHD 620 from i5-8250U

OS: Windows 11 22631

Driver version: 31.0.101.2125

It seems OpenGL ES version on windows is only supported up to 3.1, even on latest Meteor Lake products: https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/Intel-integrated-arc-igpu-in-Core-Ultra-7-not-working-properly/m-p/1575086

According to Mesa, Intel supports OpenGL ES 3.2 on Linux. Does Intel have any plan on updating the driver enumerated version on Windows?

Raw error: EGL ERROR: eglCreateContext: Requested GLES version (3.2) is greater than max supported (3, 1).

However, on Windows, the support is currently limited to OpenGL ES 3.12. There hasn’t been any official announcement from Intel regarding plans to update the driver to support OpenGL ES 3.2 on Windows.

Randy T.

Intel Customer Support Technician
