Help with changing settings of Intel HD Graphics 400 resolution

Bought a unknown Win 10 tablet with Intel HD Graphics 400.

Everything seems ok. Problems starts when I start installing games

Games installed ok but when run the game display on the lower half of screen in portrait mode

Its odd as I have run these games on another Win 10 with no problem.

Played around the resolution display but problem still exist.

First I look into the Control Panel and at Advanced Display settings

it shows

Desktop resolution 1920x1200

Active signal resolution 1200x1920

It seems odd to have such active signal resolution.

So I look into Intel HD Graphics Control Panel

Under Options and Support

- Under Information Center, I select Built-in Display under Select Option

I saw the Maximum Image Size

Horizontal Size 5.52 inches

Vertical Size 8.66 inches

Supported Modes

1200 x 1920

Clearly, the horizontal and vertical size settings are reversed.

I believed this should be cause of the problem of the games not running.

Is there a way to resolve this setting.

Any Advice.

Open Windows Settings > System > Display and change the Orientation as required.

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried this before. Changing the Orientation ONLY works in windows mode. It does not work for the games I am running in fullscreen mode.

But why is the active signal resolution and horizontal and vertical sizes reversed? This is not case for my other tablets?

Any way to edit the settings?

Just to add or clarify

I am able to run the game in potrait mode but not in landscape mode for fullscreen.

In landcaspe fullscreen the display is locked to the bottom of display with part of the graphics cropped.

In potrait fullscreen, the display is a small display at the center with big top and bottom black borders

I suggest the following steps:

Intel Graphics Control Panel:

Open the Intel Graphics Control Panel.
Go to Display > General Settings.
Ensure the Rotation setting is set to the correct orientation

Custom Resolution:

In the Intel Graphics Control Panel, try creating a custom resolution that matches your desired display settings. Go to Display > Custom Resolutions and set the resolution to 1920x1200 with the correct orientation.
