Hello Randy,

1. Is there a way I could share the logs with you privately?

2. I downloaded it using the instructions on Intel's Driver and Assistant page, so I'm going to assume it was a device manager-clean installation.

3. The origin of the game is Xbox's app.

4. The game version updates automatically, so yes, I technically updated the game version.

5. No I haven't. I was nervous to do so.

6. This is a screenshot of what pops up.

I can click ignore and continue on to the game, however it's way too glitchy to select an option let alone play the game.

I tried to update it as I said before however the Intel Driver & Support Assistant shows this:

Hello,

I recently downloaded and installed the newest Intel Graphics Driver that was released December 3rd, 2024 because when I tried to run COD 6 on my laptop, it told me about the update. I waited for it to install and easily played the game after.

However, the next day when I tried to play again COD told me once again my driver was out of date, and I was thinking how?? I just downloaded the new one. Come to find out it says my Graphics Driver returned to my previous version 32.0.101.5542. I'm not sure what happened. I tried to go and download it again, but when I go on Intel's Driver and Assistant page it says I have it downloaded. I'm just so confused why it says I have it downloaded on Intel, but my computer shows me no longer on the newest version. I also am unsure what to do and how to fix this. If anyone knows, please leave a comment to help. I just want to play COD 6.

This can happen if Windows Update detects the older driver as more stable or compatible. Another possibility is that there were conflicts during the installation process, especially if remnants of previous driver versions were not completely removed. Additionally, while the Intel Driver & Support Assistant (DSA) might show the latest driver as installed, the actual driver in use could be different due to system conflicts or rollback issues.

I will provide you with a recommendation once I have answers to my questions above. In the meantime, you can check and read this article, as it seems related to your issue.

Windows* Update Keeps Rolling Back Graphics Driver to a Previous...

Providing this information will help me diagnose the system more accurately and check for available solutions.
