Hello Wolw3rin3,

Arc Alchemist and Battlemage graphics cards are not intended to be used for eGPU configurations; rather, they are aimed at desktop applications. However, Intel Deep Link, Hyper Encode, Hyper Compute, and Stream Assist for Intel Arc Graphics will be supported by Alchemist and Battlemage graphics cards. You will need a system with an 11th generation processor or newer, with integrated graphics paired with an Arc Discrete GPU.

For more information please check the following links:

What is Stream Assist?

What is Hyper Compute for Intel® Graphics

What Is Intel® Deep Link Hyper Encode and What Video Formats Does It Work With?

Information on Intel® Deep Link Technologies

Please let me know if you have other question with regards to this matter.

Best regards,

Dhanniel M.

Intel Customer Support Technician
