Hi, JavierDorado.

Thank you for posting in our Community and for the detailed information. Helpful to know that the issue began with versions after 31.0.101.4032 and that it’s related to the Intel Iris Xe Graphics driver.

Your detailed example, along with the clipping of your own system's driver details, will be useful in narrowing down the cause. I appreciate you sharing that.

I would like to know the following:

Does this issue occur with all Win32 applications, or are there specific ones where the random files are generated?

Does this issue occur on other devices with similar hardware and software configurations, or is it isolated to certain systems?

Is there any specific software running in the background when these files are created (e.g., antivirus or security software)?

Has the issue been observed after any specific Windows updates, or does it happen independently of that?

These questions will help me gain more insights into the issue and potentially lead to a solution.

Additionally, If you've already taken any steps to address this issue before contacting me, please let me know so we can avoid repeating any unnecessary actions.

Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Von M.

Intel Customer Support Technician

We are watching what happens to us with the latest updates to the Intel Iris Xe Graphics driver.
When we open any Win32 application, some random files are generated within the path c:\users\”user”\AppData\LocalLow
We have been able to verify that this does not happen to us in driver version 31.0.101.4032, from the one following this, it does happen to us with any of the new versions

Laptops HP elitebook 840 G8 CPU 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz

Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2 version 22631.4602

I attach a clipping as an example of my own computer, which has the latest version of the display driver installed (2025):

Also attach a clipping of the detail of the driver that my computer has installed (last published)::

Hello VonM_Intel, thank you very much for the early response and help, sorry for the delay, I will try to answer the questions you ask us.

Does this problem occur with all Win32 applications or are there specific ones where random files are generated?

We have tried several such as Notepad, cmd, bitlockerwizard, etc.

Does this issue occur on other devices with similar hardware and software configurations, or is it isolated to certain systems?

It only happens to us at the moment with the HP elitebook 840 G8, but I am going to request that you try it with the HP elite X2, which is another device that we commonly use in the company.

Is there any specific software running in the background when these files are created (e.g. antivirus or security software)?

Regarding security, I can confirm Crowdstrike, Cisco Secure client Umbrella, Windows Security. And other applications running, Microsoft Teams, on a newly booted computer.

Has the problem been observed after any specific Windows update or does it occur regardless of that?

It happens independently, we have continued to make the updates published by Microsoft and in principle, it seems that it happens regardless of that.

Also, if you have already taken any steps to resolve this issue before contacting me, please let me know to avoid repeating unnecessary actions.

We opened a case with HP, but they couldn't solve it, they referred us to Microsoft and Intel, at the moment Microsoft hasn't given us any clues or a solution either.

If you find it necessary, I can send you video captures, an example of what exactly happens.

Once again, I appreciate your help. Kind regards.
