      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I initially posted about this issue in another thread (&lt;A title=" IntelGraphicsSoftware.Service 32.0.101.6325 Stopped Working" href="https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/IntelGraphicsSoftware-Service-32-0-101-6325-Stopped-Working/m-p/1651419" target="_self"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;), but I was advised by the moderator to create a separate thread.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;The Issue&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The &lt;STRONG&gt;IntelGraphicsSoftware.Service&lt;/STRONG&gt; crashes during the shutdown process of my PC. This problem started immediately after upgrading my OS to version 24H2. Prior to the upgrade, the &lt;STRONG&gt;Intel Graphics Driver (v.32.0.101.6325)&lt;/STRONG&gt; and the associated control application were functioning perfectly on the 23H2 setup.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Driver Information&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The driver was recommended by the &lt;STRONG&gt;Intel® Driver &amp;amp; Support Assistant&lt;/STRONG&gt;, and I downloaded it directly from Intel's official site:&amp;nbsp; &lt;A href="https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/842655/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Download Link&amp;nbsp;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(File name: gfx_win_101.6325_101.6252.exe)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;What I’ve Tried&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Repaired the installation&lt;/STRONG&gt; via setup – no success.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Performed a clean installation&lt;/STRONG&gt; by selecting the clean installation option in the setup – same negative result.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Observations&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The crash &lt;STRONG&gt;only occurs during the shutdown process&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;It doesn’t cause a BSOD or affect the performance of the computer during normal use.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The &lt;STRONG&gt;Intel® Graphics Software&lt;/STRONG&gt; itself runs smoothly without crashing.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;No performance issues during activities like browsing, writing, or video editing.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;System Specifications&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Intel Core i7-12700K / ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 / Kingston DDR4-3603 KF3600C17D4/8GX (4x8Gb) / Gigabyte AORUS Waterforce 240 Liquid Cooler 2x120mm / Gigabyte AORUS 850W Fully Modular 80+Plus GOLD PSU GP-AP850GM / Kingston SKC3000S512G NVMe (PCIe x4) / Samsung SSD 850 PRO 256GB / Western Digital Gold 2Tb WD2005FBYZ-01YCBB3&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Windows 11 Pro Version: 24H2 Build: 26100.2605&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’d greatly appreciate any guidance or solutions to resolve this issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;LI-CODE lang="none"&gt;Source IntelGraphicsSoftware.Service

I updated from &lt;STRONG&gt;v.32.0.101.6325&lt;/STRONG&gt; to &lt;STRONG&gt;v.32.0.101.6449&lt;/STRONG&gt;, but unfortunately, the issue persists—&lt;STRONG&gt;IntelGraphicsSoftware.Service continues to crash in the background during every shutdown.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rolling back to Windows 23H2 is not an option for me, as the &lt;STRONG&gt;Windows.old&lt;/STRONG&gt; folder is no longer available.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have attached the &lt;STRONG&gt;SSU file&lt;/STRONG&gt; to this post for your review.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regards,&lt;/P&gt;</description>

And I also have updated to the latest version 6449. It crashed when I open and close the app and I also noticed in my intel graphics software the version date is 1 Jan 01.       <description>&lt;P&gt;After some experimentation the solution I found to stop this error in Reliability Monitor was:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Settings - Apps - Startup; &lt;STRONG&gt;turn off&lt;/STRONG&gt; Intel Graphic Software.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Windows Tools - Services - Intel Graphics Software Service; Startup Type ; set to &lt;STRONG&gt;Manual&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I no longer have any Intel Graphics error entries in the&amp;nbsp;Reliability Monitor History.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;May I add that I don't run any games on my PC, so I do not know whether this workaround will affect games play.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
