AMD R9 380x incompatible with Intel DZ68DB motherboard?

Hi all,

My r9 380x is giving no signal to my monitors. Tried everything.

Is this the cause of my issue? Will updating the BIOS version fix this?

The new external graphics requires PCIe 3.0 and motherboard supports up to PCe 2.0, you are experiencing a compatibility issue.
