Core Ultra 210H not supported by Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8132/8135 despite release notes

According to the release notes of Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8132 and 32.0.101.8135,
"Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2)" are listed as supported.

However, on my Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q Tiny Gen 5 system with Core Ultra 210H,
the installer shows "No supported devices" and the log reports:

2025/10/06 17:00:42.056|INFO|Gen12+ platform: False ||

So the installation fails.

To ensure a clean environment, I used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode to remove all existing graphics drivers.
I also disconnected the internet during the process to prevent Windows Update from automatically reinstalling any drivers.
Then I manually ran the Intel installer (gfx_win_101.8132.exe), but the same issue occurred.

As a temporary workaround, I am currently operating with Intel Graphics Driver version 32.0.101.7076,
which is officially intended for 11th to 14th Gen Intel Core processors.
While it installs and runs on my Core Ultra 210H system, it is **not listed as supported in the release notes**,
and I am unsure whether it is fully compatible with the Arc-based iGPU in this processor.

I noticed that a similar issue has been reported with Core 7-150U as well.
Could Intel clarify whether this is a mistake in the release notes,
or if Core Ultra 210H is currently supported only through OEM drivers?

I have attached the installer log file (IntelGFX_20251006_170039_Install.log) for reference.
It includes the line above, which shows the installer failed to recognize the GPU as Gen12+.

Update (October 9, 2025):
I tested Intel Graphics Driver version 32.0.101.8136, which officially lists support for Intel Core Ultra Processors Series 1 and Series 2.
Unfortunately, on my Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q Tiny Gen 5 with Core Ultra 210H, the installer still fails to recognize the GPU.
The installation does not proceed, and the log shows:

This indicates that the installer does not detect the Arc-based iGPU as Gen12+, even though the release notes claim support for Series 2 processors.
As a result, the installer reports "No supported devices" and exits without installing the driver.

Additional update:
I tested Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8136 on my Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q Tiny Gen 5 with Core Ultra 210H.
• The installer fails to recognize the GPU.
The log shows , and installation does not proceed.
This is despite the release notes stating support for Core Ultra Series 2 processors.
In response to your earlier question:
Yes, I have tried using the OEM-provided graphics driver from Lenovo.
Specifically, I installed version 32.0.101.6647, which is listed on Lenovo’s support page for the ThinkCentre neo 50q Gen 5.
While it works, I prefer to use Intel’s official generic drivers to ensure compatibility with future updates and features.
Currently, I’m using version 32.0.101.7076, which supports Intel 11th to 14th Gen Processor Graphics.
It installs successfully and is newer than Lenovo’s OEM version, so I’ve chosen it for now.
I’ve used Intel’s generic drivers for many years, even on systems with OEM-specific hardware IDs, without issue.
This is the first time I’ve encountered a situation where the installer refuses to proceed, despite claimed compatibility.
I’ve attached the installation log file from gfx_win_101.8136.exe:

It contains the full output from the installer, including the line:

which indicates that the GPU was not detected as Gen12+.
Could Intel clarify whether Core Ultra 210H is officially supported by generic drivers, or if it now requires OEM-specific packages only?

I have checked this internally and the Intel® Core™ 5 processor 210H (Code Name: Raptor Lake) does not belong to the Intel® Core™ Ultra processor family (Code Names: Meteor Lake, Lunar Lake, Arrow Lake-S, Arrow Lake-H), which is required for Intel® Arc™ Graphics driver support.

Please note that the generic Intel® Arc™ Graphics drivers are designed specifically for the Core Ultra processor family. For systems with Core™ 5 210H, it is recommended to use OEM-provided drivers, such as those available from Lenovo, to ensure proper compatibility and functionality.

The product page for the Core 5 210H lists it under “Intel® Core™ processors (Series 2)”

If this CPU is not supported by Arc drivers, then the driver page and release notes should be corrected immediately to clarify that Series 2 with Intel® Graphics (non-Arc) is not supported.
Also, the label “Intel® Graphics for Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (Series 1/2)” is misleading, as it implies compatibility with Arc drivers even for non-Arc GPUs.
Please also clarify whether the Core 5 240H is supported.
Like the 210H, it appears to use Intel Graphics (non-Arc).
Is it correct to assume that both the Core 5 210H and 240H are not compatible with Intel® Arc™ Graphics drivers?
Intel should clearly state the following in its documentation:
Intel® Arc™ Graphics Drivers
Supported for:
– Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (Series 1/2) with Intel® Arc™ Graphics
Not supported for:
– Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (Series 1/2) with Intel® Graphics (non-Arc)
I kindly ask Intel to consider revising the documentation accordingly.

I’ve noticed a recent silent update regarding driver support for Core 5 210H, 220H, and Core 7 240H.

Previously, these CPUs were listed as “validated products” under the Intel Arc Graphics Driver (ID: 785597), despite being incompatible due to their non-Arc GPU architecture.

Now, they have been removed from the Arc driver page and quietly added to the “Intel® 11th–14th Gen Processor Graphics – Windows*” driver list.

While this correction is appreciated, the lack of any formal announcement or clarification may continue to confuse users who previously relied on the Arc listing.

I respectfully request that Intel:
– Officially clarify that Arc drivers only support CPUs with Intel Arc Graphics
– Clearly distinguish Arc and non-Arc GPU support in future driver documentation
– Provide a changelog or notice when such corrections are made
