Hello

I have an Intel Arc B580 GPU, and I’m experiencing low GPU usage (around 25%) in CapCut Desktop, even with hardware acceleration enabled.
CPU is overloaded instead, and video playback lags during color correction.

Everything lags even with the slightest color correction. I've set everything up correctly and tried a bunch of settings. This didn't happen with my old RX580 card.

System details:
- GPU: Intel Arc B580
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
- RAM: 32 GB
- OS: Windows 11

Could you please confirm if CapCut is fully supported by Intel Arc GPUs or if any driver update/workaround is available?

To help diagnose this properly, please share the following details:

• Run Intel System Support Utility and provide the generated log file

• Verify if Resizable BAR (ReBAR) is activated in your BIOS

• Share your power supply specifications (model and wattage)

• Confirm your current Intel Arc graphics driver version

This data will help us identify whether this is a CapCut compatibility issue or a configuration problem we can address.

Awaiting your response.

Best regards,

JeanetteC.

Intel Customer Support Technician

Rebar activated, latest driver version from October 22, 750W power supply, I've attached the file below. The program works fine on other cards. Specifically, on the B580, I'm too lazy to run it at maximum, not 15%. Hardware acceleration is enabled.

How quickly can you fix this? Or will I have to replace the card soon? I work a lot in Capcut, but I can't even handle the basics.

In Premiere Pro everything loads normally, and in DaVinci Resolve too. I have clean drivers installed on a fresh Windows.
Please adjust the drivers for CapCut as well, since it works fine in Premiere

A lot of people use CapCut for editing on PC, this problem is really serious.

Hello Patrick74,

After reviewing the details, it appears the issue you’re experiencing may be related to a bottleneck. The processor only supports PCIe 3.0 but the GPU supports PCIe 4.0. This difference can sometimes lead to performance limitations. The reason you didn’t encounter this issue with the RX580 is that it also supports PCIe 3.0, so there was no mismatch.

I recommend reviewing your system configuration to ensure there are no bottlenecks that could cause similar issues. With that in mind, I’ll go ahead and close this inquiry. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to submit a new inquiry, as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Best regards

Jed G.

Intel Customer Support Technician

As I wrote, everything works fine in other programs and games. It's Capcut that's not handling the required load.
Today, I tried a 3060 from another PC in the house (it also has 4.0), and everything worked perfectly where it should.
Are the drivers not compatible with Capcut?
