We got a laptop with an Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 80EUs. For some unknown reason it looks like this driver constantly disables the DSC feature by setting the associated DWord value to 2. We have tried several times to set this back to 0 so that DSC works again but it keeps being changed back to 2.

We have a simple powershell script running using task planner to set it back to 0 again but this is far from ideal. What we really want is for the Dword to just stay at 0 and stop changing. Is there any way to achieve this?

DPMstDscDisable is the DWORD we're changing. It's under the following key:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000

Okay, that matches the procedure Dell describes here:

How to Enable Display Stream Compression on Latitude, Precision and XPS

I have the opposite problem. I wanted to disable DSC on my NUC11 using this DWORD, but it didn't work either. Very weird.
