ViewSonic VA3420C
Supported modes are listed on page 31

1 x DisplayPort 1.2 HBR2

2 x HDMI 2.0 TMDS (600 MHz)

1 x USB-C with DisplayPort 1.2 HBR2

ASUS Zenbook 13 UX333

1 x HDMI 1.4 (300 MHz)

This is a Coffee Lake (8th Gen) platform. In this case, the HDMI output is only designed for up to 300 MHz TMDS. The HDMI output is also the only video output on this laptop.

If we assume that the monitor uses VESA Coordinated Video Timing - Reduced Blanking (CVT-RB), then:

3440 x 1440 @ 60 Hz = 319.75 MHz TMDS
Unfortunately, the laptop cannot support this.

To see what is possible, please run edid-test.exe:

https://www.monitortests.com/edid-test.zip

This will create a file named "edid-test.txt" in the same folder. Please attach this TXT file here.
