My PC consists a Z890 ProArt with latest BIOS updated and a B0 step intel ultra 7 265 processor, with an Intel Arc B60 PRO graphic card. Unfortunately, this discrete GPU couldn't power any monitor only if I re-plug the video cable after boot with multi-form of adapters (mini-DP to DP or HDMI).

I couldn't fix this up, while this motherboard doesn't support selecting between iGPU and dGPU as primary device, the only selectable item from its GUI are "auto" and "disable" which didn't work.

Does anyone with similar configuration meet the same replug monitor issue? How to fix it? I do wish to get rid of this troublesome replugging.

Thank you for your reply! here's the relevant information:

1) Multiple monitors have been validated, JMGO 4K projector (4k@60), screen with unknown brand (2520x1680@90), USB video capturer (1080P60). Issues arises when single monitor is connected.

2) When monitor is connected to B50 Pro (<STRIKE>It seems that my previous post is wrong as B60</STRIKE>), the system didn't display POST message on first boot after a normal power off. The POST message shows up when I replug the video cable, enter the Windows OS and restart normally. (Apologize for my not sure about the term of cold/warm boot) The display recovers immediately after cable replug.

3) I chose a Non-Pro driver from Intel driver assistant, no difference were observed between two versions of driver softwares. The device is detectable under Windows Device Manager.

4) I used a 750W PSU, the GPU is installed on the first slot (<STRIKE>Sorry for my incorrect post message, I used a B50</STRIKE>) with motherboard suppling power. I haven't tried the other slot with PCIE lane direct to CPU. Both adapters cannot fix this issue, but replug.

5) This card is an Intel brand (Arc Pro B50).

6) I'll do this later.

Hi! I followd your suggested step but the monitor still doesn't work.

However, I tried a new video adapter which actively outputs HDMI (my previous cable seems to be passive at low price =), everything turns right, the monitor could display on cold boot!

Anyway, everything works now! Thank you for your following my issue! I do wish this product to be updated with firmware that escapes cable issue in the future.
