I bought a new HP OmniDesk AI PC M03-0054. Installation went surprisingly well... both monitors worked, the Logitech mouse and keyboard worked... until the next day. Then I lost the HDMI port. I swapped cables and the port was the problem, so I returned it to Best Buy - no problems. Bought the same machine and had the same problem - HDMI port not working. I performed all the tests ChatGPT suggested (surprisingly helpful). Turns out their summary solution is a BIOS update. The HDMI port works when accessing BIOS (F10) but not afterward, when booting with only HDMI cable attached. Has anyone had this issue or know of solution?

Both Monitors are Asus VE248.

Using DisplayPort to HDMI from the DisplayPort port on PC

Using straight HDMI cable from HDMI port on PC to monitor

Note: Swapping monitors produces same result - HDMI port not working

Confirmed cable connections (can not tell if HDMI port on PC could be damaged, but this is second machine (same model) where HDMI does not work. BTW, HDMI (only) works when going into BIOS mode (F10 at boot) but doesn't work after reboot.

There were two BIOS updates from HP that I applied, plus drivers for VE248.

2nd monitor shows in Device manager as Hidden or grayed out

Intel System scan attached.

Thanks for the assist. Keith
