It’s heartening to see such a patient, empathetic exchange. @CM_Intel deserves high praise for his clarity; navigating the complexities of browser security settings for someone who has "no knowledge of computers" is a masterclass in accessible support. He/She didn't just fix a driver error; he/she fixed the "invisible" wall between the user and their hardware. Kudos to @Bobby_Brown as well for providing a clear screenshot and following the steps perfectly—it’s a great example of how effective communication can solve even the most frustrating technical hurdles.

For any "Super Users" watching this thread, CM's fix is a definitive "pro" move. Modern browsers have tightened Private Network Access security, often blocking the Intel DSA from talking to local hardware. Adding intel.com to the local network allow-list is the correct surgical fix that maintains security while restoring functionality. Alternatively, simply using a non-Chromium browser like Firefox can sometimes bypass these specific local network restrictions entirely.

Your friendly neighbourhood user
