Intel Arc B580 on Rog Strix B450-I Gaming. GPU-Z confirms it is disabled. Hard to even watch youtube with the stutter. No changes were made in BIOS and it was working before today's update. Anyone have clues?

Hi Jon11111111,
Thank you for posting in our Community. Based on your description, where Resizable BAR was enabled before but is now showing as disabled after a recent update, this typically points to a BIOS-level configuration change or a platform setting being reset during the update process. To help narrow this down quickly and get you back to stable performance, I’d like to ask a few targeted questions:

BIOS Settings

Is Above 4G Decoding currently enabled?

Is Resizable BAR Support enabled?

Is CSM (Compatibility Support Module) disabled?

System Mode

Is your system running in UEFI mode only, or is CSM still active?

Update Trigger

Was this issue observed immediately after a BIOS update, GPU driver update, or Windows update?

Driver Status

Are you currently on a clean installation of the latest Intel Arc graphics driver, or was it updated over an existing version?

Current Behavior

Besides GPU-Z showing Resizable BAR disabled, are you seeing FPS drops, stuttering across all applications, or only specific workloads like YouTube/video playback and games?

Additionally, I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue

Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Screenshots attached. 4G coding is enabled. Resizable BAR support is enabled. CSM is set to Auto, just as before. I updated the ARC driver/software on 7/1 and the issue started on 7/1. No changes were made to anything else, including BIOS. I believe the driver was updated without the checkbox selected... not sure if that's clean or not. Behavior is 100% confirming that Resizable BAR isn't' working. Terrible stuttering in videos and gaming is not possible.
