Hi,

I have a problem with updating my display adapter driver. Whenever I am updating it via device manager it has no effect: the driver version stays the same. If I uninstall current driver and try to install the new one the last does not work at all.

Any thoughts?

System: samsung q45 laptop with 965 Express chipset (driver version 7.15.10.1666). Vista SP1.

p.s. the reason for updating the driver was inability to work with external display at 1920x1080 resolution (The screen gets cut at edges). Intel suggest to install new driver (http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-029955.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-029955.htm) as a solution.

Hi there! I recommend installing the graphics driver manually via have disk method. You will need to download the zip version and extract the files using winrar or winzip.

If you are interested in additional information check below:

http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm

Thanks

Allan.
