I am using an ZOTAC NANO CI320 as an HTPC. It uses the Intel HD Graphics from the Celeron N2930. I have it attached via HDMI to a 73" DLP TV. In windows 8, I finally was able to run CustomModeApp.exe and make up a resolution with no overscan issues. However. To this day non of the drive GUI functions for scaling or custom resolutions are available, even though screen shotted in your own help pages.

I tried Windows 10 when it was released this summer and had the same issue. Which was promised to be fixed.

Now it's December, same issue. Not fixed.

I need a straight answer (no thread hijacks about games) can I correct my HDMI overscan or not in windows 10?

Intel(R) HD Graphics

Report Date: Wednesday, December 2, 2015

Report Time [hh:mm:ss]: 1:50:26 AM

Driver Version: 10.18.10.4252

Operating System: Windows* 10 Pro Insider Preview (10.0.10586)

Default Language: English (United States)

Installed DirectX* Version: 12.0

Supported DirectX* Version: 11.0

Shader Version: 5.0

OpenGL* Version: 4.0

OpenCL* Version: 1.2

Physical Memory: 3974 MB

Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2930 @ 1.83GHz

Processor Speed: 1833 MHz

Vendor ID: 8086

Device ID: 0F31

Device Revision: 0E

* Processor Graphics Information *

Processor Graphics in Use: Intel(R) HD Graphics

Graphics Output Protocol (GOP) Version: 7.2.1005

Current Resolution: 1920 x 1080

* Devices connected to the Graphics Accelerator *
Active Displays: 1

* Digital Television *

Display Type: Digital

Serial Number: ONK0c41

DDC2 Protocol: Supported

Gamma: 2.2

Connector Type: HDMI

Device Type: Digital Television

Maximum Image Size

Horizontal Size: 63.78 inches

Vertical Size: 35.83 inches

Supported Modes

640 x 480 (60p Hz)

720 x 480 (60p Hz)

720 x 480 (60i Hz)

800 x 600 (60p Hz)

1024 x 768 (60p Hz)

1280 x 1024 (60p Hz)

1280 x 720 (60p Hz)

1360 x 765 (60p Hz)

1920 x 1080 (60p Hz)

1920 x 1080 (30p Hz)

1920 x 1080 (24p Hz)

1920 x 1080 (60i Hz)
Power Management Support

Active Off Mode: Supported

Raw EDID:

00 FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 3D CB 41 0C 00 00 00 00

00 16 01 03 80 A2 5B 78 2A 70 85 AB 4E 48 AB 26

0F 50 54 21 08 00 D1 C0 8B C0 81 80 81 C0 01 01

01 01 01 01 01 01 02 3A 80 18 71 38 2D 40 58 2C

45 00 50 8D 63 00 00 1E 01 1D 80 18 71 38 2D 40

58 2C 45 00 50 8D 63 00 00 1E 00 00 00 FC 00 54

58 2D 4E 52 34 31 34 0A 20 20 20 20 00 00 00 FD

00 3B 3D 0F 44 11 00 0A 20 20 20 20 20 20 01 2F
02 03 3A F1 48 90 22 20 05 04 03 07 01 38 09 7F

07 0F 7F 07 17 07 50 3F 06 C0 4D 02 00 57 06 00

5F 7E 01 67 54 00 83 4F 00 00 6C 03 0C 00 11 00

B8 2D C0 00 00 00 00 E2 00 7F 01 1D 80 3E 73 38

2D 40 7E 2C 45 80 50 8D 63 00 00 1E 01 1D 80 18

71 1C 16 20 58 2C 25 00 50 8D 63 00 00 9E 01 1D

00 72 51 D0 1E 20 6E 28 55 00 50 8D 63 00 00 1E

00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 31
* Other names and brands are the property of their respective owners.

At this stage, there is no ETA for a resolution on this issue, this has been escalated through engineering level. We are just waiting for new drivers at: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Intel® Download Center

Allan.
