    <title>topic Breaking RAID1 in Graphics</title>
    <link>https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/Breaking-RAID1/m-p/314140#M16654</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;I plan to upgrade my OS and would like to break my RAID 1 setup first such that I make the changes to the OS on one drive while retaining the other drive as is so that I can revert to it if necessary. The option ROM told me that I couldn't break up the array without losing data on the disk. If I don't break up the array, but instead just physically disconnect one drive, I'm not sure what will happen when I attempt to reconnect it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
