Have you updated the chipset drivers? You should have the latest INF, audio and graphics installed. My spare parts computer still has an issue sleeping the monitor (but computer sleep and hibernate OK) after installing with a VGA to DVI adapter on DG45ID. Reinstalling the graphics driver didn't help. A clean install might fix this but it isn't worth the time. Good luck.

Artistseeker,

Did you get an answer to your question? I too have a HP DVI ADD card and can't get it to work with my 82865g chipset.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, no answer from anyone. Intel sent me here, and it seems like a dead end...which they call support.
