HD Graphics 2500 3rd Gen Issues with SFC and Hash Mismatch on Win10

I have tried installing the latest driver for my Intel 2500 MoBo video - Driver 15.33.39.4276. When running Windows SFC, I keep getting the following error in the log:

Cannot repair member file [l:10]"opencl.dll" of microsoft-windows-RemoteFX-clientVM-RemoteFXWDDMDriver-WOW64-C, version 10.0.10586.0, arch Host= amd64 Guest= x86, nonSxS, pkt {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35} in the store, hash mismatc

Any thoughts? TIA

Try installing the driver manually.

Allan, Thanks so much for responding. I tired installing manually. I actually booted to safe mode and uninstalled the driver, rebooted to safe mode and manually updated the driver (which at the time of update showed the Microsoft Generic driver - meaning it did get removed). No change - but I do have a couple of questions:

I note the following in the driver details:

Driver Version: 15.33.39.64.4276

Package: 512405

Intel(R) Graphics Driver: 10.18.10.4276

Intel(R) Display Audio Driver: 6.16.0.3154

I did verify the Video driver shows 10.18.10.4276. I actually booted to safe mode because I was expecting to see 15.33.39... I now realize the "Driver Version" has different drive versions inside of it. What is funny is I have the Intel Driver Update Utility. It shows the latest driver available is 15.33.39.. and I have installed 10.18.10... So I kept thinking the install was not taking, but I see it was.

Back to the SFC problem, I also note in the driver details:

This driver will not be digitally signed for Windows 10, which means that it will not have been certified by Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).

The error I'm seeing in the SFC scan as noted above is a hash mismatch. Is that simply happening because it is not digitally signed for Windows 10 ?

Drivers are often referred to by either build number or driver version. For example, the driver you currently have installed on your system is driver version 15.33.39.64 and a build number 4276.

I recommend checking with Microsoft* about SFC. I do not have information if the driver not digitally signed by Microsoft* will interfere when running SFC.

Thanks Allen. I am familiar with version and build number (I code on the side). The point I was trying to make is that actual "video driver" I have installed is 10.18.10.4276. I believe the number 15.33.39.64 is a "Package" number that contains two drivers of the following versions:

Intel(R) Graphics Driver: 10.18.10.4276

Intel(R) Display Audio Driver: 6.16.0.3154

Very strange way of issuing drivers but that is my take away from reading the installation readme file that shows the following:

INSTALLATION README

Release Version: Production Version

Driver Version: 15.33.39.64.4276

Package: 512405

Intel(R) Graphics Driver: 10.18.10.4276

Intel(R) Display Audio Driver: 6.16.0.3154

Operating System(s):

Microsoft Windows* 7- 64bit

Microsoft Windows* 8.1 - 64bit

Microsoft Windows* 10 - 64bit
