Hello, I've installed Windows 10 on an Acer Extensa 2510 (Intel Pentium 3556U 1.70 GHz). HDMI audio does not work: it seems always unplugged. The video on TV works well. Current video driver is 10.18.15.4248. I think updating could be the solution, but Windows does not find a better driver. There is a video driver version I could install manually to solve the issue?

Thank you for the clarification.

I noticed that the driver you currently have installed is the latest from Acer site, so let's try with our generic driver and see if it fixes the issue. Please see below.

Uninstall the current driver version installed with these steps:

Open the Device Manager.

Expand the Display Adapters section.

Find the Intel Graphics Driver.

Right click Intel Graphics Driver and select Uninstall.

Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device.

Reboot the computer after uninstall process has finished.

Install the following version https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26682/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=81498 Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.40] with these steps https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows...

Regards,

Amy C.

It worked! I'll write here if there will be other related issues. All OK so far. Thank you!

A brief note: I could not install the new driver from Device Manager; after unistalling the old one I simply double-clicked on the .exe file and followed the wizard
