Hi, I get dual cursors when extending my display to the virtual monitor? using the latest drivers for this also

I want to be able to use quick sync but I refuse if I have to deal with a clone cursor in the top left hand portion of my screen

any fix for this? the dual cursor also makes it so my monitor is constantly blinking while using flux

I looked over that post and even replied to it but the fix that gameshine posted doesn't work. I see no other fixes for this in the last year with the latest drivers.

Can you provide step by step so I could try to replicate this matter?

What software are you running to get virtual monitor?

Allan.

1. Screen Resolution option from right clicking the desktop on windows 8

2. Detect button under this menu

3. where it says display there should be an option that says "Available display output on: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000" I highlight that

4. under the multiple display option I use "Try to connect anyway on: VGA" and apply

5. under the multiple display option I use "extend desktop to this display" and apply

after all these steps a 2nd cursor appears in the upper left hand corner of my screen

As far as software for the virtual monitor goes I'm not entirely sure? I'm only using your intel drivers on windows 8

You mentioned you get dual cursors when extending display to the virtual monitor.

What is exactly that Virtual monitor? Are you using Oracle software (virtualBox) or VMware?

Can you attach a screen shot or image where it shows the virtual monitor?

Allan.
