HD4600 - 2560x1440 144Hz

Hi,

I am using an Alienware 17 R2 with an Intel HD 4600 and a Geforce GTX 980m.

I have attached an external display Asus MG279Q. This display supports a resolution of 2560x1440 at 144 Hz.

However I can only select that resolution with 120 Hz. 144 Hz is not an available option although it is displayed in the Intel support information.

Any idea how I can set this mode 2560 x 1440 (144p Hz)?

(and yes it is connect thru display port)

Is there a list of supported video modes with refresh rates for HD 4600?

Have you checked your bios to see what is supported?

At the Quick Reference Guide link you will be able to see the refresh rates for HD 4600.
