LV, I would like to get additional information from your system in order to provide you the correct troubleshooting steps.

Could you please attach the DX Ddiag report from your system so I can check the current information?

Dxdiag Report: Type dxdiag in Start Menu> open> Save> Attach using Advanced Editor Options.

Are you running the latest BIOS available?

I have I think the same problem --- driver update utility finds a new graphics driver but fails to install on 965 express chipset with messages that look very similar. Below is the log and also dxdiag. I don't know how to check if I'm running the latest BIOS or how to update.
