I remind you that your graphics controller is no longer supported by Intel. Additionally, your issue was reported previously and Intel has a web link that talks about it:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009483.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009483.htm

Thanks

Allan.

I run Windows Vista and have been having regular "igfx driver has recovered" messages. I received a "Windows Solutions" message yesterday and one of the solutions was the new Intel 82946GZ driver. I updated to the new driver and everything has gone crazy. Explorer (9) won't work at all so I have had to change to Firefox. I can't run any Quicktime videos but the will run in RealPlayer with low sound and poor graphics. It seems there is no way to contact Intel, only through the Forums. Can anyone help?
