topic Intel graphics driver explorer.exe crash Windows 7 x64 in Graphics

The Intel graphics driver is causing explorer.exe to crash in Windows 7 x64. I know this because I can replicate the problem by going back and forward in the control panel with transparency on. With transparency off there is no problem. The graphics driver version is 8.15.10.1808.

How can I find an older driver for Windows 7 to use since this was pushed out through Windows Update? Please let me know when the problem is fixed.

ok someone posted a temporary solution to move igfxcpl.cpl out of the system32 folder and that seems to fix it, but I hope the next driver is updated with this problem in mind

Ok the new driver 8.15.10.1872 seems to fix the problem with control panel but the loading icons (teal circle spinning) for Windows 7 still freeze.
