I have the same mboard ..., and the same problem! The sound is a mess, I think this is a general problem with this Intel mboard. I'm thinking now to buy an audio board ...:(

I recently installed a new motherboard (DG45ID) using Windows Vista 64 bit version. The board seems to be a great creation with only one flaw, the IDT Audio driver causes the audio output to fail. I have tried both versions of IDT* 92xx Audio Driver (26876KB) 6162.0 v1.53 4/5/2009. There only seems to be this version and the previous one that was on the Driver CD.

The system is using the on-board graphics and also has the RAID controller option activated. Anyone else experience this?
