I bought LapTop 30.08.2009. Everything was ok back then. I could play games like League of Legends, GTA (SA:MP) ... But now i can't because they are to laggy. I contacted Leauge of Legends support and this is important part of their answer:

I have taken a look at your DxDiag and it appears that you may be using some older software for your graphics card. Any drivers older than six months from today's date can cause issues.

Card name: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family

Driver Date/Size: 9/23/2009
I first recommend contacting your system manufacturer to see if they have specific software to update your video card drivers with. If not, here is a link to a Intel site that will automatically scan your hardware for any available updates: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/ http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/

Unfortunately Intel stopped supporting this video card in 2009, so you will not be able to find any drivers newer than that. In this case, I recommend looking for a different computer to play on.

So what should i do, can anyone help me? I scanned my hardware but my drivers were all up to date...

Thanks for sending that over. I took a look at it, and it looks like your BIOS are up to date as far as these laptop goes. However, the version number for the graphics driver on the website may/may not be the same as the one you are currently using. http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/vostro-a860 http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/vostro-a860

There's the download page for the drivers for your system. I know you couldn't auto-update it, but go ahead and try manually downloading the driver from there. It's listed under 'Video'. Let me know if this works or not.

Thanks again,

-Nikk

I'm sorry but before i try i wan't to confirm something. (I don't want to mess something up)

I downloaded setup for that driver and when i try to run it this is what it says:

http://www.zaslike.com/files/xkuyq2b3imerzlkfved.png http://www.zaslike.com/files/xkuyq2b3imerzlkfved.png

First of all, i don't think those are same drivers? And it says that works only on Win XP and Win Home Edition but i'm using Win7 now.. So should i even run this driver?

You're right, sorry for overlooking that part. I'm not seeing any section on the support site for that specific product that has drivers listed for Windows 7. I just checked again, and the driver you currently have installed is one of our generic Intel® drivers though, and it's the latest one we have. You may need to contact Dell directly using your machines service tag (chat service is pretty fast) and ask them if that driver is compatible with Win7, or if they have an updated driver to work with it.

Let me know if they are able to help with this issue,

-Nic

Another option we can try.. Dell usually has a driver utility built into their operating systems.
